The Alamo Reunited

Unifying the Alamo and its historic footprint enables the plan to move forward, delineate the historic site, and restore reverence to this hallowed ground. The City of San Antonio is preparing to vote to close Alamo Street to vehicular traffic and convey the historic portion of it and the plaza in front of the Alamo Church to the state in late summer 2018. The city will continue to own and manage Plaza de Valero, the plaza just south of the Alamo's historic footprint (yellow).
